Generally
Permascand can now look back on another successful year despite the economical downturn. During 2009 we have proven the strategic choice of our focus areas and we are now looking forward to continue our work to expand our two business areas further through dedicated work from our personnel. In 2010 we will also strengthen our commitment to a sustainable future, one example being to become certified by the ISO 14001 standard.
Electrochemical Systems
It is a great pleasure to announce that Permascand will have a new Marketing manger for our Electrochemical Systems business area from February 15, 2010. Jan-Olof Strömberg will join us and bring +25 years of experience from international business.
Titanium Business
We have made a lot of important deliveries to exciting customers during 2009 including for example manufactured heat exchangers, vessels, subsea tools in titanium, aluminium and other high alloyed stainless steel. We will continue to work together with our customers - starting with definitions of the problem or a need - to the drawing board - resulting in a finished product.
